Earning the IHSADA District Scholarship is an outstanding achievement. To qualify, students must obtain a grade point average of B+ or higher, an overall ACT score of 24 and be ranked in the top 25% of their class. The applicants must also have participated in 2 sports for at least 2 years in each sport, earned at least 1 varsity letter in each of the 2 sports.
The IHSADA District Scholarship Award is proof that when we invest in our young people, they give back to our great State of Iowa.
In accordance with Iowa High School Athletic Director Association(IHSADA) purpose to promote, facilitate, and increase the knowledge and understanding of the vital role of interscholastic athletics & activities in the educational system, this scholarship program will foster and acknowledge the partnership between the IHSADA and secondary education. The scholarships will recognize the distinguished scholastic, leadership, and citizenship attributes of high school student athletes, and the importance of high school athletics in each student’s life.
